If there is a disaster that destroys your place of business it is all well and good to have insurance money to rebuild. But you have to keep in mind that this can take months and during that time you are going to be out of business. That means that you will have no money coming in. You will however likely still have expenses. Many businesses have failed to reopen after a disaster because of this which is why you want to have business interruption insurance to provide you with some income during these times.
